Brasswick 2024: An Urban Brass Band Festival

Get It Right the First Time in association with Hometown Bar-B-Que is thrilled to welcome back Brasswick: An Urban Brass Band Festival for the third consecutive year!

Brasswick is an annual urban music festival showcasing the talent of the vibrant and ever-growing brass band scene in the New York City area. The festival originated in a community garden in Bushwick and has sprouted in different neighborhoods throughout Brooklyn. Now in its sixth year, the festival main event has taken root in Sunset Park at the historic Industry City, with additional pop-up performances across parks in Brooklyn in the weeks before the festival!

The venue is located in an open-air courtyard featuring a full concert sound stage. Fans can order Hometown BBQ. Additional food and drinks made at Industry City will be available for purchase. Concert is rain or shine.

Tickets

$15 pre-sale, $20 (cash/card/Venmo) at the door.
All proceeds go directly back to supporting the festival and paying the bands. Kids under 18 enter for free with a ticketed adult.

Event Schedule

3pm: doors open, featuring the HONK NYC craft table for kids!
4pm: live music featuring four local brass bands
— 4pm: Unicorn Brass Band
— 5pm: Novi Hitovi Brass Band
— 6pm: The Brighton Beat
— 7pm: Kaleta & Super Yamba Band
8pm: L Train Brass Band closes the show!

End the night with a NOLA-style Jam Session open to all musicians. Bring your horn, drum, or whatever else makes noise. All skill levels welcome!

How to get here:

Take the D, N, R lines to 36th street station in Brooklyn and walk west one block to Industry City. 2 stops from Manhattan.

From Long Island, take the LIRR to Atlantic Terminal then take the D, N, or R train from Atlantic Terminal to 36th Street! It’s 8 minutes on the subway.
