Brooklyn Shakespeare Festival: As You Like It

Join brooklynONE productions for their annual Brooklyn Shakespeare Festival.

This canopy of trees is home to many exiled from Duke Frederick’s court. The newest arrivals? Rosalind and Celia, the Duke’s own niece and daughter. For protection, Rosalind has disguised herself as a man, Ganymede. In this disguise she runs into her crush from the court, Orlando, and hilarity ensues as “Ganymede” tries to help “cure” Orlando of his love. With twisting plots, riotous wrestling, and no shortage of forest-dwelling lovers, As You Like It is sure to bring laughs and sighs to even the most stone-hearted Shakespeare skeptic.

Starring Paige Hann, Alejandria Solis, Meg Felling, Alexander Finch, Mitch Richman, Brandon Manderville, Tiffany Rexach, Jon Rosner, Emily Missud, Isaiah Rothstein, Jason Santel, Jolee Cohen, Emily Gallagher, Jack Mahoney, Emily LoPorto, Nicole Grieco, Bryan M. Davis. The Show is directed by Nicole A. Franz, Stage Managed by Tiffany Rexach with fight choreography by Jon Rosner.

The festival is not just about the performances; it’s an immersive experience. This year, we are expanding the festival aspect with a variety of vendors, adding to the vibrant atmosphere of the shows’ weekend. Attendees can look forward to an enriched cultural experience, with more activities and community engagement than ever before.

Performances are Friday August 2nd at 8pm. Saturday August 3rd at 3pm and 8pm. Sunday August 4th at 3pm.
