God’s Love We Deliver Thanksgiving Celebration!

God’s Love We Deliver cooks and home-delivers nutritious, medically tailored meals for people too sick to shop or cook for themselves. To support the health of their clients, they also provide ongoing nutrition assessment, education, and counseling. God’s Love is a non-sectarian organization serving people in need and their children and caregivers. All of their services are provided free to clients and full of love.

Thanksgiving is an extra special time at God’s Love We Deliver as they prepare and deliver festive Thanksgiving meals and gift totes to clients they serve throughout the year. This is all made possible, in part, by dedicated volunteers like you, delivering meals to clients from Industry City, one of thirteen Meal Distribution Centers GLWD partners with throughout NYC.

As a Volunteer Driver, you will USE YOUR OWN VEHICLE to deliver meals to clients, typically between 6-8 households. Staff and on-site volunteers will help you check-in and provide you with a “delivery manifest” and delivery instructions, as well as client meals and client household gift totes.

There are two Volunteer Driver shifts, one starting at 9:30am and another starting at 10:00am. More information about the event and the role Volunteer Drivers play is available by clicking through the links provided below.
