


Indigenous Artisans and the vanishing handicrafts of Morocco join Imports from Marrakesh for the opening exhibition of photographs by Cody O’Loughlin and meet Mohamed Elmaarouf, founder of Imports from Marrakesh. From the leather artisans deep in the medina in Marrakesh to the wool spinners in the Atlas Mountains, Cody travelled with Mohamed throughout Morocco in 2019 to document these artisans who produce these ancient crafts for Imports from Marrakesh’s stores in Industry City and Chelsea Market. Explore the unique culture of Morocco and learn about Imports from Marrakesh’s mission to promote and preserve the traditional arts and crafts of Morocco.
