Join us at the Courtyard 5/6 every Thursday from 7-11pm for Open Mic Night, open to all musicians! This event is FREE, with no cover and no minimum, and takes place in the spacious outdoor courtyard with socially-distanced seating. If you’re not performing, just come by to grab a drink and enjoy the music!
For now, the stage is only open to musicians, so if you’re interested in performing, it’s first come first serve. We will have 2 microphones, an electric keyboard and an acoustic/electric guitar available for use if you don’t have your own. Backing tracks are okay, but they must be on a device (device must have 1/8″ mini aux. output, please bring your own iPhone “dongle” adaptor if needed to connect). Please keep it small and acoustic – no amps, drum kits, etc.
This event is hosted by Evan Kremin, a NYC-based singer/songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and recording artist. Evan performs locally, nationally and internationally, has recorded and released countless albums and singles and has written music for TV and film. Since 2014, Evan has had the pleasure of running the weekly open mic at the historic music club The Bitter End in NYC’s Greenwich Village.
Everyone must be wearing a mask or face covering to enter (may be removed while performing).
Seating is outdoors and socially distanced.
House instruments will be disinfected after each use.
Sanitary microphone covers will be provided and changed for each performer.
