Salsa Night at Sahadi’s w/ Cuarteto Guataca Band

Come hang out in Courtyard 3/4 at Sahadi’s Industry City every Friday and listen and dance to live Latin music by Cuarteto Guataca – One of NYC’s biggest salsa parties. Cuarteto Guataca plays high-energy acoustic Son Cubano and Salsa with an old-school sound, making people dance in clubs, parks, and streets of NYC since 2012.

On lead vocals and percussion, Jainardo Batista of San Juan, Puerto Rico, is an urban legend because of their work with Mo’ Guajiro. Jainardo has toured the world as a Jazz Ambassador through Jazz at Lincoln Center and the US State Department.

On Cuban tres guitar, Román Lajara of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, and Marseilles, France, is one of the most sought-after guitarists for Latin music worldwide. He’s known for his work with Los Hacheros and percussionist Luisito Quintero.
