Court Tree Collective and The Collision Project proudly present Passage a site-specific sculpture by Stephen Talasnik. Well known for his atmospheric drawings. Talasnik has spent the last decade cultivating outdoor landscapes made from wood, reed, and bamboo. Having regularly exhibited both domestically and abroad, Passage is his first New York City ephemeral installation in over a decade. Inspired by glaciers, viewers will have the opportunity to walk through the sculpture.

Officially scheduled to open on February 12th, the site sculpture will be made inside the Court Tree Collective gallery in Industry City in mid-January. Viewers can see the artist working live on Saturdays and Sundays (12pm) starting January 16th.

Originally from Philadelphia, Talasnik’s drawings are featured in public collections like the Pompidou in Paris; the Albertina in Vienna; the British Museum, London; the Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC, and the National Gallery of Art in Washington DC. He is a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design (BFA), and the Tyler School of Art (MFA). His
