During the weekend of November 22 and 23, 2014, Industry City is pleased to welcome two events that celebrate the industriousness of the American spirit, and the undeniable quality of American-made goods – including those made right here in Brooklyn!
Industry City is a proud sponsor of the first Brooklyn edition of American Field, a pop-up celebration of American makers, artists, musicians, and craftsmen that has drawn throngs in Boston for the past three years. American Field features exclusively U.S. made clothing, accessories, goods, and furniture, and – just as importantly – the people who make them. The mission of American Field is squarely focused on promoting American manufacturing, and the weekend festivities are slated to include vendors, as well as music, food, drink, live demos, workshops, speakers, and educational series. From up-and-coming brands like [INSERT HERE] to stalwarts like [INSERT HERE], American Field is slated to feature the who’s-who of American makers, consolidated for your convenience at Industry City’s chic Factory Floor space. For more information, a schedule of events, and a full list of participating makers, click here to visit American Field.
Just steps away, Industry City is teaming with WantedDesign and the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce to host the Made in Brooklyn Holiday Market, a showcase of the finest home furnishings, lighting, housewares, accessories, artisanal foods, and gifts our borough has to offer. The Made in Brooklyn Holiday Market is curated by WantedDesign, international design tastemakers and curators, and is sure to feature one-of-a-kind items you simply won’t find outside of Brooklyn. Learn more about the Made in Brooklyn Holiday Market, including participating sellers and hours, at [insert site].
Visit both American Field and the Made in Brooklyn Holiday Market – and sample tasty treats from the Industry City food hall – at 274 36th Street, between 2nd and 3rd Avenues. We’ll see you soon at Industry City.
