What is Industry City?
Industry City is a 35-acre campus on Brooklyn’s waterfront in Sunset Park, home to 700+ companies across tech, design, media, robotics, biotech, clean energy, and more. The campus brings together thousands of people daily — with restaurants, event spaces, and a creative ecosystem alongside leasable office, studio, and industrial space. Whether you’re looking to work, shop, eat, explore, or lease, there’s something here for you.

What are the hours?
Building hours are 8AM – 10PM with tenant key card access after hours. Retailers maintain their own hours of operation which are available on their individual Google Business pages.

How do I get there?
Industry City is located in Sunset Park, Brooklyn, and is easily accessible via public transportation, bike, or car.
By Train:
The 36th St Station (D/N/R trains) is one express stop from downtown Brooklyn’s transit hub connecting to 11 train lines + the LIRR:By Bus:

Parking is available for free along 3rd Avenue, and paid parking is available in Industry City’s secure lot on 2nd Ave.

Are dogs permitted at Industry City?
We’re a dog-friendly property. Pet relief areas are located on 2nd and 3rd Avenues. If visiting a restaurant or bar, check their individual pet policy. We ask that pets refrain from relieving themselves indoors or in the courtyards.

I’m a content creator. Can I shoot photography or videography at Industry City?
Content shot for personal use is permitted — tag us @industrycity! For commercial photography or videography requests, email hello@industrycity.com for approval.

Where can I work while on campus?

Does Industry City have public restrooms?
Public restrooms can be found on the ground floors of buildings 2-6.

Are there ATMs on the property?
ATMs from TD bank are located in Buildings 2 and 5.

Does IC have on-site security?
Industry City has roving security team members patrolling throughout campus; the Security Command Center is located in Building 7 between 33rd and 34th Streets.

Whether you’re planning a corporate event — conference, product launch, trade show, or networking evening — or a private event like a concert, party, or milestone celebration, Industry City has the space for it. We have multiple venues on campus ranging from intimate settings to spaces that hold 1,200+ guests, all with enterprise AV infrastructure, catering support, and outdoor space. What types of events can I host at Industry City?
Industry City is a full-service private event campus with venues for almost any occasion.
On the corporate side: conferences, trade shows, product launches, press days, company off-sites, networking events, panels, and brand activations. We’ve hosted thousands of attendees for multi-day industry events and intimate executive dinners alike.
On the private side: concerts and live performances, birthday and milestone celebrations, wedding receptions, film and photo shoots, and more.
Our largest venue holds 1,200+ standing with a 33,000 sq ft courtyard; we also have skyline-view spaces, a two-story executive venue with catering kitchen, and everything in between see our events page for more information.

Can I host a birthday party in the public areas?
We encourage guests to use our public courtyards — just be respectful of other guests and avoid oversized décor or speakers. Contact our events team to learn more about booking private spaces.

What types of spaces are available at Industry City?
Industry City has space for businesses at every stage — from coworking memberships and private offices for individuals and small teams, to creative studios and workshops from 500–2,500 sq ft, to larger creative offices, full-floor offices for established companies, and industrial and flex space up to 125,000+ sq ft for manufacturing, fulfillment, and warehousing.
If you need your office and your warehouse in the same place, we have you covered.

Can my business grow at Industry City without having to move?
Yes — that’s one of the things that makes IC different.
Companies here regularly start in a coworking membership or small studio and scale into larger offices, workshops, or industrial space without ever leaving campus.
You don’t have to renegotiate a lease in a new building every time you add headcount or square footage.

Do you have coworking space or shared office memberships?
Yes. Cowork IC offers private offices, assigned desks, and community memberships for individuals and teams up to 25 people.

Do you have artist studios or creative workshop space available?
We do. Our Creative Workshops range from 500–2,500 sq ft and are built for makers, designers, photographers, fabricators, tattoo artists, wellness practitioners, and anyone who needs a physical space to do their work.
Every unit has natural light and loading access.

Our 700+ tenants span tech and AI, design and architecture, media and production, robotics and hard tech, e-commerce and logistics, sustainability and clean energy, biotech and life sciences, and everything in between.
