Using simple construction techniques and paper fasteners, you’ll create a one-of-a-kind puppet with movable joints that can bend, pose, and come to life through movement and imaginative play. Step into a glowing world of art, music, and nightlife at BLACKLIGHT 3, brooklynONE productions’ immersive blacklight gallery experience at the Tom Kane Theatre in Industry City. Explore original UV-reactive artwork from more than 20 local and regional artists, enjoy a live DJ set from DJ Dmitri, sip specialty blacklight cocktails, and experience a one-night-only gallery transformed by blacklight. Make the night your own! Guests are encouraged to dress in white, neon, or UV-reactive clothing and take advantage of our complimentary UV face and body painting to become part of the art. Whether you go all out or just add a few glowing accents, the more you glow, the more magical the experience becomes.
You know that feeling when a cereal box or a piece of wrapping paper is just too pretty to throw away? Same. I have a whole bin for those. In this class we're turning that instinct into art — using recycled food packaging, wrapping paper, toilet paper rolls, and any interesting paper from around your house. As a member of Urban Sketchers New York, I've been experimenting with landscape collage and I love how this process forces you to simplify and see your own work differently.

Industry City and Get It Right Music are proud to welcome The Rock and Roll Playhouse for a series of shows this summer in our outdoor bandshell! This show features two sets of David Bowie! The first set features Bowie's greatest hits for the whole family and a second set of some deep cuts for everyone. The 1:00 pm opening set is the traditional interactive Rock and Roll Playhouse family set with another "all ages" set for everyone's enjoyment from approximately 2:00-4:00 pm!

Join us to learn the basics of this delicious and unique 500+ year old Japanese Spirit, how to differentiate between styles, and how to serve Shochu to its best advantage and use it in delicious craft cocktails. We'll also explore the nuance of Shochu vs Sake and Soju! The course includes a guided tour of Brooklyn Kura's sake brewery (through the lens of shochu making), a flight of 5 different shochus served in a variety of styles, and a few snacks to accompany the tasting.
