Introduction to Shochu – Tasting Class and Brewery Tour

Are you curious about Shochu? Join us to learn the basics of this delicious and unique 500+ year old Japanese Spirit, how to differentiate between styles, and how to serve Shochu to its best advantage and use it in delicious craft cocktails. We’ll also explore the nuance of Shochu vs Sake and Soju! The course includes a guided tour of Brooklyn Kura’s sake brewery (through the lens of shochu making), a flight of 5 different shochus served in a variety of styles, and a few snacks to accompany the tasting.
