Each begins with a quick demo of a technique or process you might incorporate in your own work. Explore a wide range of materials and techniques available in our studio, including collage, drawing, image transfer, stenciling, and printmaking.

Are you curious about Shochu? Join us to learn the basics of this delicious and unique 500+ year old Japanese Spirit, how to differentiate between styles, and how to serve Shochu to its best advantage and use it in delicious craft cocktails. We'll also explore the nuance of Shochu vs Sake and Soju! The course includes a guided tour of Brooklyn Kura's sake brewery (through the lens of shochu making), a flight of 5 different shochus served in a variety of styles, and a few snacks to accompany the tasting.

Level up your service skills in sake! This one day sake training certification course will teach you all the ins and outs of proper service and sales for sake in your your restaurant or retail shop. There is no prerequisite and this course is open to anyone wishing to get training in professional service of sake. The course consists of four modules.
