At the core of Alvin Dan’s sound is emotional honesty. He describes himself simply as “a sad boi who plays indie R&B, jazz, and folk and writes love songs to cope,” but beneath that simplicity lies a deeper intention. His songwriting explores heartbreak and longing while challenging the extractive nature of the music industry. Rather than chasing individual success at the expense of creative autonomy, Alvin believes in building collectives—spaces where artists uplift one another and ensure communities are cared for. For him, music isn’t just expression; it’s infrastructure for connection and shared struggle.

All tickets will have a $1 fee that goes directly towards Hifi Provisions. All seats are first-come, first-served. Tickets can be purchased in person or online. A valid ID will need to be presented if drinking alcoholic beverages.
