In Good Company: Encore Night at Brooklyn Made
Thursday, September 4 | 7–9 PM
Couldn’t make the opening? We’re doing it again. Join us for an encore reception of In Good Company: A Brooklyn Art Show on Thursday, September 4, 7–9 PM at the Brooklyn Made Store.
Curated by Brooklyn-born artist Tommy Lombardozzi, this night brings back the eclectic mix of work from Joseph Milazzo, Nicholas Accettura, Susie Oh, Garfield Harry, Adam Suerte, and Lombardozzi himself—with a few creative twists. Expect live, original music by Tommy and a poetry reading by Joe Milazzo from his Battle of Brooklyn collection (books will be available for purchase).
It’s a celebration of Brooklyn creativity in all its forms: art, music, poetry, shopping, and community. Complimentary refreshments will be served.
FEATURING WORK BY:
Adam Suerte
South Brooklyn-born painter, illustrator, tattoo artist, and creator of the “Bridges to Brooklyn” pint glass series. Adam co-founded Brooklyn Tattoo and Urban Folk Art® Studios and has been documenting the borough in bold, urban iconography since the ‘90s.
Garfield Harry
Self-taught photographer capturing moody, high-contrast slices of overlooked urban beauty. Garfield’s work transforms quiet corners of the city into dramatic, emotive landscapes.
Nick Accettura
Street photographer and visual storyteller with a deep love for capturing the spontaneous poetry of Brooklyn life. Nick’s lens finds honesty in grit and tenderness in architecture.
Susie Oh
Artist and children’s book author/illustrator living in Brooklyn with her partner and two diva guinea pigs. Her dreamy, character-driven work mixes storytelling and whimsy with a deeply human touch.
Joseph Milazzo
Brooklyn native who went from digital design to painting poignant portraits of bars, boroughs, and cultural memory. His latest works are rich in storytelling, realism, and deep Brooklyn soul.
Tommy Lombardozzi
Brooklyn-born artist and curator with a flair for the absurd, nostalgic, and occasionally NSFW. Also co-host of the Jacked Kirby podcast and an expert in turning chaos into art shows. This one’s his fault.
