Many of our bamboo baskets were discovered in traditional Japanese homes and date back to the early 20th century, each carrying its own history and craftsmanship.

Alongside our antiques, you’ll find contemporary handmade works by artisans in Japan, including aizome (indigo-dyed) and sashiko textiles, tea leaf–dyed and kakishibu (persimmon tannin)–dyed placemats, handcrafted ceramics, and DAIDAI’s Kurumi Ware—beautiful glassware made with walnut ash, giving each piece its signature soft green hue. A customer favorite from last year, Kurumi Ware is back by popular demand.
