The Creative Factor – Industry City creative professionals meetup

Join us for our next meetup of the Creative Factor after our successful inaugural meetup last march. Again we are hosting it in New York City’s most bustling hub of Creative Professionals and Studios, Industry City.
Industry City is home to some of NYC’s most cutting edge animation studios, Fashion Designers, Film Studios, Product designers, Painter, Sculptors, Graphic Designers, Photographers, interior Designers and most every genre of creative profession in NYC.
For tenants of Industry city and the general creative community at large its a great way to meet your neighbors.
for our 1st half of the evening, We are having an open call for anyone who would like to show off their recent work or a project they are working on with the group. Bring a slide show on a thumb drive or laptop and we’ll put it up 20 feet wide on our projection wall, and give you the microphone for 15 minutes. Any project, any genre.

• Meet your next collaborator

• Find a company for your next creative production job

• Maybe find some like minded creative field friends

• Find a freelancer to work on your next project
for the 2nd half, we will host the start of a discussion on artificial intelligence in the production art world.

•  Is it good, is it bad.

• Where is it good to use, where is it not.

This is meant to stir up some emotions and get people thinking. We will then like to have this group reconnect on the following meetup on May 29th to hear from a group of professionals who are using it in product design, Film, Writing. And we can all discuss on our viewpoints on where this technology is going.

7:00 P.M. – Submitted project projected on the screen
7:30 P.M. – Artificial Intelligence discussion starts
8:00 P.M. – Mingling and Networking
