In this comics workshop, students will learn how to put their story goals before their visuals in order to understand the fundamentals of visual storytelling and how the story drives imagery when the two are working in tandem. In this evening workshop, we'll be focusing in on the pamphlet. The pamphlet can become a little notebook for your pocket, a fun way to level up a zine, a perfect format for an artist book, a sweet gift, and so much more! We'll talk about paper, different variations on the pamphlet stitch, and fun ways you can personalize and decorate your books. Spending an evening with your book has never been more hands on :)
