InContext: A COVID Collaboration With iMakr, FABerz + RBW
iMakr, FABberz, and RBW collaborated to produce and deliver medical eye shields to local hospitals across the five boroughs, which was captured by News12. With no prior knowledge of how to create this medical-grade product, Jake Keum connected with the ‘Open Source COVID19 Medical Supplies’ Facebook group at the start of the pandemic. IC provided space next to their current office to assist in the effort + connected them with The Brooklyn Hospital Center for donations.
In addition, FABberz started a campaign called FABheroes which allows individuals and businesses to donate face shields to a hospital or first responder of their choice.
